One Touch Operation

The micro RoadPilot comes fully loaded with its operating system and database of speed limits and speed traps.

It’s a simple plug and play solution to safer driving. With micro’s single button, operation couldn’t be easier. A single press of the button will scroll through various pages of vital information and also enables the user to select the volume, backlight and other operating parameters.

Or simply just use the factory default, which suits most people.

Visual and audible alarms

When driving on an unrestricted road within the national speed limit, micro Pilot displays your vehicles speed (thanks to GPS technology this will normally be more accurate than your car speedometer) and your compass heading to the nearest 45° (i.e. SE).

As soon as you approach a speed limit controlled by a fixed speed camera device you will automatically receive a visual warning.

If you then exceed the limit at any time your micro will:

• - Indicate the speed limit, your vehicles speed and the approximate distance to the approaching speed camera.

- Give a clear audible alarm every time you exceed the speed limit.

Plug and Play

The micro RoadPilot is supplied pre programmed with the latest data on national or posted speed limits in the vicinity of fixed camera sites and accident black spots. Simply plug into the cigar lighter socket and you can use it straight away.

Desktop USB Interface

Keeping the micro RoadPilot’s data up to date is important yet extremely simple. Just slide your
micro into its desktop USB interface and you will receive the latest information in a matter of
moments via your PC.

This service includes future software enhancements and is free for the first six months and currently costs £50 thereafter. Less than £1 per week to protect your licence and preserve your life.

Removable Face

The micro RoadPilot has an ingenious swivel-mounting arm, two types are supplied as standard, either straight or rightangled as shown for quick and easy installation.

When not in use simply slide the display off the bracket.

Optional High End Radar Detector

Enables the micro to detect radar-based mobile and vehicle-mounted speed detection devices. 100% legal to use, it detects X, K and Ka band transmissions. The Micro RoadPilot is the only GPS speed camera detection system on the market that has an optional Radar Horn.

NEW for 2004 - LaserPilot™

While RoadPilot and micro RoadPilot can always keep you alerted to the locations of fixed speed camera locations, including temporary cameras at roadworks, until now it has been more
difficult to protect against laser handheld and mobile speed detection devices (SDDs).

Grill Mount Option

The new LaserPilot is a compact, weatherproof module that detects laser emissions from handheld and mobile SDDs, further increasing the capabilities of the RoadPilot and micro RoadPilot. It features integral front and rear sensors, enabling it to detect laser emissions directed at the front and rear of the vehicle when mounted internally.

Windscreen Mount Option

Furthermore, RoadPilot and micro RoadPilot can support multiple LaserPilots, enabling you to fit them to the front and rear of your vehicle, either internally or externally, to ensure optimum coverage.
